Lucy's Tearoom in Stow-on-the-Wold (my favorite tearoom in The Cotswolds!)

Tuesday, August 1

My very first time in The Cotswolds, I stumbled in to the Lucy's Tea during a rainstorm, and it has since become my favorite tearoom in all of the England. It's exactly the type of cozy little tea room Americans (like myself) go crazy about for its British charm. Before you even walk in, the honey colored exterior with gorgeous windows and a Union Jack hanging above the door draw you in.

Once inside, the crackling fire place, festive bunting hanging from the wooden beams, and wide selection of cakes and desserts makes you never want to leave. The building is over 300 years old, so I just imagine the likes of Jane Austen having her afternoon tea here:)

But the most enjoyable part is the delicious food they have, including a variety of gluten and dairy free options. Every time I've been back, I've loved ordering the gluten free scones with the cream tea:) So delightful! We are headed back to Stow-on-the-Wold in October and Lucy's Tearoom is the first place I want to go!

Lucy's is open 10am-4pm on the weekdays, and 9:30am-4pm on the weekends. It's located right in the heart of Stow-on-the-Wold. As a fun aside, they actually rent out fairly affordable rooms if you're looking to stay there!

If you ever pop in to Lucy's Tea Room make sure to tag me on IG! xoxo
